Northwest University for Nationalities

Procedures of Applying & Enrolling

All applicants who would like to pursue their studies in the university have to hand in their application reports directly to the International Exchange & Cooperation Division of Northwest University for Nationalities (NWUN). 

Enrollment：

1. All applicants can ask the International Exchanges & Cooperation Division of NWUN for “Application Form for Foreign Students to Study in China” or download it directly from our website and please send the demanded personal forms, along with other required materials to us.

2. After check-up and approval of the mailed materials, we will send it to the enrolled students the “Admission Notice” and “JW202 Form” (Visa Application of Visiting China for Foreign Overseas Students”) one month and half before the new semester start;

3. The enrolled students can apply for the study visa in Chinese embassy or consulate in his/her country by submitting the above “Admission Notice” and “JW202 Form”. (NB: Applicants who study in China over 6 months have to apply for X Visa);

4. The enrolled student is required to register at our department in set time and presents his/her visa, “Admission Notice”, “JW202 Form”, and “Physical Examination Form for Foreigners” (original).

Time of Application：

Language & Advanced Studies Students: Supposed to submit their application form before 1st, Jan. and before the day of 15th, June of the year if they want to participate in the spring or autumn studies respectively.

Diploma / Undergraduate / Postgraduate / Doctoral Students: Between 1st, March and 15th, June of each year.
